Like many people I was having a challenging time finding and getting a new job during the recession.  With my group at work being restructured, layoff announcements and rumors of future layoffs, I felt pressured to find a new job opportunity and find one fast.  To add fuel to the fire, I’m a new homeowner and I was concerned about potentially being unemployed and unable to pay the mortgage on the home I’ve worked so many years to obtain.
